Happy Easter!

Hey everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful Easter Holiday. Ben and I stayed local this year and spent Easter with just the two of us. We didn’t let this stop us from doing our usual holiday traditions. We attended mass first thing this morning and came home for a delicious brunch made by yours truly. I prepped most of our side dishes last night so all I had to do was warm everything up once we were home from mass. I learned this trick from my mom, who is the master of all hostesses. It relieves so much stress and allows you to enjoy your day without spending all your time in the kitchen. Our meal consisted of some of our Easter favorites; ham, au gratin potatoes, veggie quiche, fruit salad, and banana pudding for desert.

Our full spread. These potatoes are SO good. They are from one of my favorites, The Pioneer Woman. Look them up, you will not be disappointed. These are a staple for pretty much every holiday at my parents house.

Another Pioneer Woman recipe! Topped with mint and drizzled with a vanilla and orange sauce it’s unlike any fruit salad you’ve ever had!

Not Yo’ Mama’s Banana Pudding. No seriously, this is the name of this recipe brought to you by Paula Deen. Which means it’s the farthest thing from being healthy, but it’s SO dang tasty I don’t even care! This is a Posey favorite.

Even though it was just Ben and I, I had so much fun decorating our table. I’m obsessed with a good place setting and was so excited to use our beautiful Waterford China. We received these as wedding gifts and loved using them for the first time.

I just love them! They are so classic and work for every occasion.

This vase was the perfect centerpiece for our Easter table. I bought the vase during a recent trip to Sedona, AZ. from an adorable shop called, The Hummingbird House. I almost passed it up, but I’m so glad I decided to buy it. I really wanted to use fresh flowers, but figured this could get quite expensive. I bought these fake ones instead from Michaels Craft Store. They were all under $8 total. I’m pretty picky when it comes to fake flowers, and thought these looked very real!

Now that we are stuffed from our meal we are going to lay low and enjoy this relaxing day! I’m working on a few fun things for the blog, keep an eye out for an easy spring DIY project coming to Cozy With The Poseys soon!

Happy Easter from The Poseys ❤
